An appeal : From JK.NAP centre

This statement is being made out on behalf of Liaquat Hayyat ,central president JK.NAP :- JK.NAP feel repent by observing the prevailing discussion on this forum since many days which is completely a futile exercise of defaming each other, slandering nationalist and progressive parties of Kashmir.This exercise is creating a pollution on this worthful forum. In this business multiple sides,individuals ,parties and groups are involved by hook or by crook on some level. JK.NAP seriously conceives that every member and party should consider and look after this forum as a sole means of expression of their views,ideology and party programmes to benefit Kashmir cause. JK.NAP considers that those who are busy in non-issues,not only they are wasting precious times of themselves and others but also they are harming Kashmir cause and create an impact of non-seriousness. JK.NAP doesn’t believe in ,neither it is the official policy of the party to create rifts among the nationalists and progressive parties of Kashmir on irrational basis nor it is the agenda of the party to calumniate other parties or their leaderships. JK.NAP seriously consider the need of serious discussion on ideology and programmes which could produce positive result and could enhance common cause among Kashmiris. JK.NAP honestly recognizes and respect the role and struggle of different parties and individuals for Kashmir cause. JK.NAP believes in criticism and tolerate the same but it should be based on rationalism and believes in open discussion on different issues and disputed points to understand the point of view of different schools of thoughts. We made it clear that the question of seperation of our party from a nationalist alliance should not be taken in negative aspect and sense,neither NAP put any allegation while aparting,that is only due to the need to focus on party’s internal matters ,building and strengthening itself. JK.NAP seriously instructs all it’s members on this forum that to not meddle in personal issues and focus on to enlighten and highlight party programme and ideology and convey party message to others in positive and better way. JKNAP members and office bearers subscribed on this forum need to only address serious questions and matters and neglect non-issues,even any invasion from non-serious elements. At the same time JK.NAP anticipates from other parties and individuals to co-operate to build this forum a place of constructive and fruitful discussion assembly to raise the genuine cause for what we have been struggling since decades. Thanks for your clarification on certain points related to my mail.As I said in my earlier mail that " We need to stick with the substance and issues related to us " but it is unfortunate with our so called thinkers that they left all related issues behind and concentrate all their strength to find the Qadri ,Bohla ,Asad and etc.
Off course they did that kind of politics since last three decades without any conclusion they can`t be changed.In result on Kashnet the fake ID`s are encouraged to do more with narrow minded approach so they did it.Including you and Jamil Sb.are also interested in this finding.
I agree with Kasnet moderator that reasonable language and substance must be reasonable and acceptable.
An author of social science said "Many author's explain the world , but the real issue is that how to chang the world" .
Another said it is the duty of the writers to give a right direction to the people of their time ,otherwise history never forgive them.
The reply of Javeed Inayat towards an issue to participating election in POK assembly is a very important and proactive attempt to clear his party position he did it before on issues related to NAP, APNA,Hassan.
If some one admits he has a personnel enmity behind his triangle e- mail what we can do?-
The best thing that we can do is to ignore them ,they should be dead in a few day`s.

Further to your attempts against us. I reproduce an article below written by your party chairman Abbas Butt , he quoted Liquat Hayyat`s president JKNAP interview in his speech .What kind of hypocrisy is that?

You try to represent APNA and JKNAP at the same time .Your own party is not a part of that alliance WHY? neither you have any sufficient knowledge of the politics of different fractions in POK, apart from news gup shup.In return you lost your credibility according to my previous mail too.

Your political immaturity exposed after sinking more then thirty ears in a different groups, then you try to built a new political party thousands miles away from the state of Jammu Kashmir.Not a clear political decision but,really stand in space.
Your criticism on democratic decisions of JKNAP does`t deserve a clap, it shows that you are a narrow minded person looking for a cheapest way for publicity.
Yesterday two mails on Kashnet with fake names supporting you with dog`s tongue really a proud for you or would you like to condemn it lets see that from your side? No one knows where they were exists.

Just let you know that Javeed Inyat ,Hassan and myself are completely NONE SMOKERS form our young age and we were the best sports persons in our college and University life.Thats enough for you to prove wrong .Yes the agencies in POK try hard to defame us with that kind of allegations and you try to do the same .The cadre of JKNSF are well educated and understand that kind of cheap attempts against them.
Its true that you and your party are not known well in POK .


Secondly -You produced a writing of Mr.Anjam raising suspicious questions like that`s similar to your style
(not the answers).

President JKNSF Raja Saba replied him in a same newspaper I will try to produce that reply for you.
He (Ashfaq Anjam) wants to show his malicious attitude against NAP+NSF, because most of his friends did joined NAP and left him alone for you thats the reason for his writing.

According to the sources he killed his wife and returned form prison (Jail) after spent seven years there, so he is still in trauma, you could except anything from him .He also phoned to our honourable president Liquat Hayyat for sorry.

I hope you should get some support from your party and APNA as well,and able to get some support from your party chairman too.
That kind of ill will can`t stop us to moving forward ,we expecting more cheaper attempts towards us , we are understand well and also ready for that too .

Saeed Asad interviewed Sardar Liaquat Ayat who visited remote areas of the Neelam Valley. Sardar Liaquat Hayyat says (Now President JKNAP), and I quote:

‘What I saw in the Neelam valley I have no words to explain. This is most beautiful area on earth, but the tragic aspect of this is that people here live in constant fear and misery. There is only one narrow road which links the Neelam Valley with the outside world, and it is in tatters and results in accidents every other day resulting in deaths of innocent people. Forces of occupation were present everywhere and openly displaying their weapons to harass people. If you want to see unruly army, which has no care for welfare of the people, and which is not controlled by any one then visit the Neelam Valley’.

This army is stationed in villages and populated areas. There is no concept of sanctity of ‘chader and chaar divari’ - meaning respect for home and dignity of women, because honour and dignity is trampled under big boots of the army. Dignity and honour of no one is safe here. Sexual abuse is common here; and because of fear factor no one dares to complain’.

He further said, ‘I heard many stories about the plight of the people before coming here, but these stories do not accurately explain the plight of the people. What Unruly and uncontrolled Pakistan army is doing in this area is horrific and beyond imagination. We met local people and heard these horrific stories from them. Most disliked and hated thing in that area is the Pakistan army. Those army officers who are stationed here do not want to be transferred to any other place because of the liberty and abuse they can enjoy here. Apart from that they make fortune by selling timber and other resources of the area’. Unquote.

In the Freedom struggle it's our national responsibility to respect & honor those who have served the nation with their pure soul. For example from IOK,If the Political leader (like Farooq Abdullah …………..etc who has good relations with the deli ) demands the Kashmiri nation , the nation should honor him ,then I think it will be heartening to all those who knows that while coming in Power & enjoying with the help of deli sarkar these type of leaders did nothing for the future of Kashmiri Nation . In the same way if today Sardar Qayyume Khan demand that I am Mujahid awal(self projected ) & Kashmir nation should regard him then I think that its also nonsense . Why it is so , its b/c that such type of personalities & their generations has enjoyed a lot & still their remaining are in the power either in IOK , either in POK . This type of character , one can understand that these people have the interest either with Deli or Islamabad . BUT

In the National independence struggle its very strange for the Kashmiri nation , youth , intellectuals that some personalities are claiming for the Kashmir independence but at the same time they have very good relation either with Islamabad or deli . There are personalities, who were used during 1980…………….es till to now from ISI & from Raw regarding the freedom movements.

Comrades & Friends : If such personalities are now a days ask us that we should give them respect like heroes then it will be very shameful at least to all of us . To become heroes for the Nation , it needs sacrifices i.e. genuine sacrifices . the sacrifices, which has no relations either with the secret hands of India or Pakistan . Its like this one should not be arrested for the interest of either Indian or Paki agencies but if someone was arrested via ISI & Claim that I had scarified for the Nation & in the same way if someone arrested via Raw & claim that he has sacrificed for the Kashmiri Nation then its will be acceptable for those who followed them , not for the true & genuine people who knows that while working for the Freedom there should be clear vision about the occupiers .

Comrades & friends :The insitituations from which I got such lesson is JKNSF .JKNSF has trained us , how we should think about our MOTHERLAND Kashmir .JKNSF has given the clear way for the Kashmiri nation & now JKNAP is taking this message to the Kashmiri nation , we know that we with the minimum resources are moving but at least the JKNAP workers & comrades has one thing , all these have good character . Our character is not like this we get dollars / Rupees & spent that in our issues ; I can, give many examples about this . I personally know that how in the name of Kashmir Jihad , different personalities have taken the Guns from ISI & now a days enjoying in Europe & many personalities who take funds from Raw & now a days enjoying here .

Kashmiri nation has still the time to clean their society from the sick & diseased tomatoes . Until the Kashmir nation will not scan their society from this virus , we cannot move ahead. It is very clear that if you are interested to fight & defend your basic rights then first you get rid of those who in your own society work for your enemy .

Jammu Kashmir National Awami party ( JK NAP) from its central Secretariat and its International Council clarifies that Shabir Choudhry,s statement on this forum is completely baseless, false and malicious propaganda against JK NAP and its leadership, which is highly condemnable. I am as a coordinator of International council Jammu kashmir National Awami Party issuing this statement here that none of our members from Belgium nor any where in any country has any links with any Kashmir center whatsoever and I do condemn Mr. Choudhry,s false accusation against one of our honorable members. If some one has any personal grudges against each other it must not be discussed on public forum, nor it should be doing any thing to any political party. I personally do not know Mr. Choudhry nor ever been heard his name in POK in my life, only few people from U.K. confirmed that he is from POK but no body knows him even from his home town Mir pure, or they did not confirm it to me. I been told that he is having one an half member party, which he calls KNP, It is not known in POK. I do not know who is this Shabir Choudhry and why he is coming up against JK NAP. His problem is completely unknown to me so that there is no reason to discuss him, if any one, including him having any problem with JK NAP related matters must contact with IC JK NAP or its central leadership. I do not think he is concerning with those issues which he raised on this forum. I do not know why he is worried about JK NAP,s decision separating itself from All parties alliance (APNA). It is not known that he and his one an half member party is also part of this alliance or not? It is also not known that why he wants to have a split in JK NAP and what benefits he will be having out of it? He is trying to separate JK NAP previous leadership and newly elected one, even there is no difference whatsoever, only priorities are different and every leadership should be having party priorities, so the JK NAP. It is very interesting to know that he is the only one speaking on the behalf of APNA, neither APNA which is being left nor JK NAP has been made any official contact so far to discuss this matter nor any indication of worries of this matter. There may be some differences among our members but it is not known to us nor our party leadership has been aware about it nor any party member has shown any disagreement over this APNA matter so far. It is interesting to know that only Mr. Choudhry is the only person who knows the differences in our party. Mr. Choudhry is acting like a member of spy agency, as he is not exposing any of his sources, which he keeps mentioning again and again. The news his sources have been confirmed from Muzafrabad about one individual who is brother of another individual from JK NAP living in Belgium completely baseless. Yes there was a police action against local people and lawyer community but there was no involvement of that individual whatsoever. It shows the kind of personality of Mr. Choudhry, does it not enough to believe that Mr. Choudhry has no thing to do with any politics let alone nationalist politics of POK. I do not believe that he is from Mir pure either, he might be acting on the behalf of one of the Pakistani spy agencies and he may be from Gujarat Punjab, who knows what he is doing. Now it should be cleared that JK NAP general council has unanimously approved the decision of separating itself from APNA. JK NAP has its own priorities and its leadership has decided what it was necessary to do for the party. It should not be any body,s business nor any one should be dictating our party policies. JK NAP leadership does not make its policies according to the wishes of unknown individuals. There is no problem with APNA, we do respect all of them and there are some prominent individuals working with APNA, it does not mean that our separation aiming to destroy them. They are free to do whatever they been doing, JK NAP is not part of them any more because our organizational work has been expanded and its load has not been permitting our comrades to play any role in this alliance, also most of our members have not been happy with the activities of APNA since so long, it is very well known by APNA members parties, but those differences did not lead JK NAP,s withdrawal from APNA, it is our party work which would not allow us to play effective role in APNA, therefore it was necessary to withdraw from this alliance and pay full attention to organize our party. As for as Amanullah Khan,s JK LF is not part of this alliance, really creates any credentials problems for his party, it is just laughable. It is interesting to know that Amanullah Khan is lacking nationalist credentials because he is not part of APNA and JK NAP would not be having this problem any more because it has been part of this alliance and we know this alliance very well so there is no need to worry about it, nor it should be only judgment standard for POK nationalist parties. Amanullah Khan is a very well known Kashmiri leader, we all have differences with his politics but he should not be judged by some one whose where abouts are not known. Hi, I am totally agreed with the role of JKNSF and definitely JKNSF produced a large number of political leaders, activists, academics, intellectuals, since its formation. And also JKNSF is a symbol of nationalism in colleges and universities of Kashmir. But from past few years JKNSF is divided into two groups. One is based on so-called class struggle and Pro Pakistani working under Pakistan Feudal party PPP.But I want to ask few Questions from JKNAP. Creation of JKNAP is a process of itself to stop its cadre to spreading in different parties or groups. 1> What efforts JKNAP made to stop JKNSF members to being a part of Pakistan Peoples Party. Many ex-NSF cadre return into the NAP including Adil Khan ex.president NSF (Marxist) and many others too. 2 > JKNAP was a part of APNA from long time. But now they have decided against it. Why?? We have a strong faith on our own people not Islamabad or Dahli (Pakistan -India).We don`t want that the peoples of Kashmir blame us as a part of proxy politics in POK. APNA have need to address the alegation of Indian sponsored politics.The leadership of JKNAP is very clear on it, that we can`t justify the links of some APNA components with the Indian vested intrests. 3 > JKNAP decided to participate in elections independently, what kind of results they are expecting from elections? Is there any revoluatnary way to change things in Kashmir? Inhuman crackdown of police on civil society (Lawyers ,Clerks) Mazafarabad POK

President Jammu Kashmir NAP Liquat Hayyat ,Sec .Gen Abdul Sattar ,President JKNSF Raja Saba ,Coordinator IC JKNAP Javeed Inayat , Hassan Mahmood ,condemn in strong possible terms the brutality of POK administration and the inhuman crackdown on civil society (Lawyers ,Clerks) and common public in Mazafrabad POK.

We demand that POK administration to hold a high level judicial inquiry to find the truth and responsible must brought to the justice within a days not in months.Police is a responsible for this brutality on innocent lawyers and other common persons were injured.

Secondly, you are not a Spokesperson of JKNAP?

Please read that statement (below) again, and learn to respect to the DEMOCRATIC decision of our General council which is most decisive and powerful body of the party JKNAP.There is no conspiracy theory to quieting from APNA.That was a popular decision from party cadre to distance form the theme of proxy parties.Blame game is worthe less
Your other allegations on comrade Hassan are baseless too?
Peoples from POK are known him very well.

مظفرآباد(وقائع نگارسٹاف رپورٹر)وکلاء اور پولیس کے درمیان تصادم سینکڑوں وکلاء پولیس اہلکاران سرکاری ملازین راہگیر صحافی شدید زخمی ڈسٹرکٹ کورٹ میدان جنگ بن گیا پولیس کا وحشیانہ تشدد آنسو گیس لاٹھی چارج کا بے دریغ استعمال سینٹرل بار کے صدر انجم نثار میر ،سابق صدرراجہ صداقت حسین ایڈووکیٹ ،فیصل مجید ،حضور امام کا ظمی ،ریاض نقوی ،سید وقار کاظمی ،چوہدری شوکت عزیز ارشد مغل راجہ آصف بشیر ،طارق بشیر، قاضی ظیہر ،شدید زخمی اور بعض وکلاء رہنمائوں کی گرفتاری ۔ تفصیلات کے مطابق گزشتہ روز سینٹرل بار کی طرف سے ترقیاتی ادارہ مظفرآباد کی طرف سے حضور امام کاظمی ایڈووکیٹ کے شیلٹر کو اکھاڑ نے کے خلاف احتجاجی مظاہرہ ہو رہا تھا مظاہرین اور پولیس کے درمیان اچانک کسی بات پر تلخی شروع ہو گئی اور تلخی شدید لڑائی کی صورت اختیار کر گئی اس موقع پر پولیس نے وکلاء اور مظاہرین پر اندھا دھند لاٹھی چارج ،آنسو گیس کا استعمال شروع کر دیا پولیس ڈسٹرکٹ کورٹ کے اندر داخل ہو گئی اور وہاں پر موجود وکلاء سائیلین ملازمین پر بھی لاٹھی چارج شروع کر دیا اور اندر آنسو گیس کے شل پھینکے جس سے وہاں پر موجود وکلاء سمیت عام شہری بھی شدید متاثر اور زخمی ہوئے ۔مظفرآباد پولیس نے حضور امام کاظمی اور ریاض نقوی ایڈووکیٹ کو ڈی آئی جی رینج اور ایس ایس پی آفس کے سامنے لٹا کر ڈنڈوں لاتوں مکوں سے مارا اور دونوں کو نیم بے ہوشی کی حالت میں گھسیٹ کر ایس ایس پی آفس کے اندر لے گئے ۔مظفرآباد پولیس نے موقف اختیار کیا ہے کہ وکلاء نے پہل کی اور ایس ایچ او سردار اعجاز خان کو بوتل ماری گئی جس پر پولیس نے یہ ایکشن کیا۔پولیس کا انتظامیہ آفیسران کے احکامات ماننے سے انکار اے ڈی سی جی تحصیلدار نائب تحصیلدار سمیت دیگر انتظامیہ آفیسران پولیس سے اپیل کرتے رہے کہ وہ لوگوں پر تشدد نہ کریں اور آنسو گیس نہ پھینکیں مگر بھیپری ہوئی پولیس نے ان کی ایک نہ سنی اور مسلسل سنگ باری آنسو گیس لاٹھی چارج جاری رکھا۔ضلعی عدالتوں کے باہر واقعہ الطاف ہوٹل کے مالک راجہ آفتاب خان نے الزام لگایا کہ پولیس وکلاء کے پیچھے میرے ہوٹل میں داخل ہوگئی اور میرے کائونٹر سے پولیس والے 93ہزار روپے نقدی اٹھا کر لے گئے شیشے کرسیاں برتن توڑ دیئے ۔حضور امام کاظمی ایڈووکیٹ نے اپنے ایک بیان میں کہا ہے کہ ترقیاتی ادارہ کے چیئرمین داکٹر محمود الحسن اور سردار نواز خان مجھے قتل کروانا چاہتے ہیں انکی کرپشن کے ثبوت میرے پاس موجود ہیں پولیس مجھے مذاکرات کے بہانے لے گئی اور مجھ پر وحشیانہ تشدد کیا میرا ایک وکیل ساتھی وقار کاظمی شاہد مر چکا ہے پولیس نے میرادفتر توڑ دیا ہے ریکارڈ غائب کر لیا ہے م یرے گھر پر بھی دھاوا بولنے کی تیاری ہو رہی ہے ۔مرکزی ایوان صحافت کے ایک ہنگامی اجلاس میں صحافی خواجہ ریاض پر پولیس کے وحشیانہ تشدد کی شدید مذمت کی گئی اور صحافیوں نے کابینہ اجلاس کی پریس بریفنگ کا بائیکاٹ کر دیا اور اعلان کیا ہے کہ آج ہونیوالے اجلاس میں مستقبل کے لائحہ عمل کا اعلان کیا جائیگا۔ چیف جسٹس سپریم کورٹ جسٹس ریاض اختر چوہدری نے مقبول وار ایڈووکیٹ کی درخواست پر سوموٹو ایکشن لیتے ہوئے ضلعی عدالتوں میں پولیس تشدد کی رپورٹ 24گھنٹے کے اندر طلب کرتے ہوئے ڈی آئی جی ایس ایس پی سمیت دیگر انتظامیہ آفیسران کو آج سپریم کورٹ طلب کرلیا ہے۔آزاد جموںوکشمیر بار کونسل ٹیم غیرجریدہ نے پولیس تشدد کے خلاف آج ہڑتال کا اعلان کر دیا ہے ان تنظیموں کے رہنمائوں کا کہنا ہے کہ پولیس نے پر امن لوگوں پر تشدد کیااور ملازمین اور وکلاء پر لاٹھی چارج کیا پولیس نے عدالتوں کا احترام بھی چھوڑ دیا ہے اور اس پر کسی کا قانون نہیں چلتا۔سینٹرل بار کے سابق صدر راجہ صداقت حسین ایڈووکیٹ بیچ بچائو کروا رہے تھے کہ ایک پولیس اہلکار نے ان پر بندوق تان لی اور دوسرے نے کہا کہ اسکو گولی مار دو تاہم قریب کھڑے ایک پولیس آفیسر نے مداخلت کی اور ایک اہلکار نے انہیں ڈنڈا مارنے کی کوشش کی ۔

JK NAP third central peoples convention held.

JK NAP central peoples convention was held in POK city Rawalakot and attended by large number of people all over POK cities and Towns. There were some delegates from Pakistan also. Peoples convention was attended by some Nationalist leaders of POK, among them JKNLF president Shaukat Maqbool Bhat, Plebiscite front president Azeen Dutt Advocate, prominent educationist,intellectual, former JK NAP president professor M.A.R.K. Khaleeque, Sardar Javed Sharif former president JK NAP, KL NSF president Raja Sabah and many more also spoken at the historical occasion. There were guests from Pakistan, among them, Pakistan Awami party convener Malik Qayyoom, Hassan Nasir leader of Pakistan Awami party, Chaudry Muhmood-ul-hassan Pakistan workers party spoke at the convention.

Pakistani guests appreciated JK NAP leaders for inviting them in this historical event and given them an opportunity to speak people from all over POK, especially youth from this unfortunate region. Malik Qayyoom said that it is a first time I am interacting a large number of young people from Kashmir and I would like to assure you that people from every region of Pakistan completely support Kashmiris struggle for an Independent country. Malik said that people of Pakistan are not responsible for the miseries of Kashmiris nor they have been supporting Pakistani ruling classes tactics of dividing kashmiri people. Malik Qayyoom said that there is no Pakistan who does not support liberation of Kashmir from both India and Pakistan. He said that both countries have been occupied Kashmir and divided it against the will of millions of Kashmiris and we do not support any efforts made by both countries to redivide this beautiful neighboring. Pakistani people support Independent united Kashmir, we are not agree with Indian and Pakistani rulers to keep their occupation against the will of majority Kashmiris. Pakistan Workers party leader Chaudry Muhamood-ul-hassan also said that Pakistani people and their rulers should not be treated the same way, our country has been taken hostage by corrupt elites which have been violating the rights of different regions including POK areas. He said that Pakistani people will not accept any solution which would not be acceptable to our kashmiri brothers. We the people of Pakistan support real freedom movement of Kashmiris which is trying to end occupation of both countries, that is why we are in this convention to show you solidarity with the people of Kashmir. If we do not support Kashmiri freedom movement we would not have been here in this JK NAP convention, which is really a party represents Kashmiris aspirations both sides of LOC. Muhamood-ul-hassan said that we have seen the aspirations of kashmiri youth here today it is very encouraging for us to learn more about Kashmiris problems. He said that kashmiris are freedom loving people, today kashmiri youth came out here in large number to show solidarity with JK NAP political program which is a healthy sign and we will take this message from Kashmiri youth to our Pakistani people and they do share the same sentiments about Kashmir freedom movement and JK NAP is leading the youth in right direction, we progressive people do support JK NAP political program, and it would be the best solution to Kashmir dispute and it can satisfy all stake holders, Kashmiris, Indians and Pakistanis.

Shaukat Bhat a son of prominent Kashmiri hero Baqbool Bhat said that Kashmiri youth has waken up and it would be impossible to our occupiers to sustain their occupation any longer. kashmiris youth is taking the right path to liberate our motherland, there is no short cut to achieve it, but constant struggle to get rid of foreign occupation. He said that JK NAP is a ray of hope for POK youth, we will continue our liberation struggle as long as our motherland is under occupation. Pro-Khaleeque former JK NAP president and top intellectual from POK area, appreciated the efforts of JK NAP leaders and activists for making this convention happen. Pro-Khaleeque said that time has come to take up the real issues of Kashmiri people both sides of LOC. Kashmir has been made a religious issue but it has never been like that as both countries have been portraying it. Kashmiris have been struggling for their basic national, social, cultural, economic rights and have been offered so many sacrifices to achieve them, JK NAP and its youth will continue this historical struggle and take it to its logical end. JK NAP has exposed hypocrisy of local POK leaders who claim that they represent local population in POK assembly, but all of these pro-Pakistani Kashmiri leaders are not ready to remove the section of state accession to Pakistan, so that those who are not agree with this illegal imposition of act 74 by POK Govt on behalf of Pakistani state can participate in parliamentary election. It is unfortunate that a large section of population from POK have not been allowed to vote for the candidate of their own choice. People of this area have been deprived of their basic human rights. Raja Saba central president of prominent youth organization of POK said that JK NSF and JK NAP would continue this historical liberation movement and will definitely play a leading role. Jammu Kashmir is an historical entity and we will never accept its re division on the basis of religion,regions, or ethnicity, Kashmir has been an historical unity, its diversity, its color fullness will be protected by any means. We will never allow our occupiers to decide the fate of 15 million people, it is only right of kashmiris to decide their right of self determination. Raja Saba said that kashmiri youth is ready to sacrifice every thing for their lovely Kashmir. He said that it is very unfortunate that our two neighboring countries have not been respecting our peoples right of self determination, instead brutalizing them, suppressed them, deprived them of their basic national, political, economic rights.

JK NAP newly elected president Liaqat Hayyat and general secretary Sattar Ahmed Khan advocate thanked all the guests and participants. President and secretary JK NAP appreciated Pakistani guests also for coming too far away place to show the interest and solidarity with our suppressed people of Kashmir. JK NAP leaders have reiterated that they will go in to the polls next parliamentary election and before going in the elections they would like to see the controversial section of act 74 of the POK constitution must be amended as soon as possible. If this controversial section would not have been removed from the Constitution, JK NAP would take appropriate steps to get it removed. We are giving some time to POK leaders and parliamentarians to amend this clause which is barring pro independence candidates from participating in elections, if they did not do that JK NAP will be soon activating its leaders, activists and members not only in POK areas but overseas also. JK NAP branches abroad will be starting sit ins in front of Pakistani consulates and embassies all over the world.

KASHMIR, INDIA and Pakistan stand on the edge of a catastrophe of unimaginable proportions. Two unstable capitalist regimes with nuclear weapons threaten to bring destruction to millions of people already suffering from poverty, disease and mass unemployment.

An eyewitness account from a socialist in Pakistani occupied Kashmir

"AS I write this report, information has come in that in the Poonch sector shelling has caused widespread devastation.

I have just spoken to a father of a three-year-old - a refugee from Poonch - who said that shelling started in the villages of Mandole, Thar, Butel, Serah, Tatri Note, and Tattapani, this morning [28 May], during which over 500 shells were fired.

Around 32,000 people have been displaced. Three women were injured, houses destroyed, and buffaloes killed. Housing rent has escalated again.

It is much the same terrible situation in Nakyaal sector and surrounding villages, where shelling continues all day. Anwar Khan, president of JKNAP (Jammu and Kashmir National Awami Party, a left organisation), said that around 50 shells fell on the Pakistan occupied Kashmir side of the Line of Control [the ceasefire line separating Indian and Pakistani troops], ten of them near his house.

The situation in hospitals is that even before the conflict they were in a dire state, with lack of basic medical facilities. I spoke to a woman who had suffered leg injuries. She told me that because of the pressure on beds she was moved from a bed with a fan (vital in the searing heat) to one that had no ventilation. Her son complained to the hospital authorities but with no success.

Her son was a student from Khuratta, 30 kilometres from Kotli. Indian shells fell on a degree college in Khuratta and all educational institutions have been closed. This was the first time the town was fired upon since the 1971 India-Pakistan war.

Unknown numbers of people have fled the area. The mood on the ground is one of fear, but a greater anti-war mood exists in the urban areas, which needs to be organised.

Recently, Committee for a Workers' International supporters, [CWI - the socialist international organisation to which the Socialist Party is affiliated] and members of JKNAP held a demonstration of 150 young people against the war in Hajeera, Pakistani occupied Kashmir. This village is within shelling distance of the Line Of Control. Two days after the demonstration shelling from the Indian army killed six villagers.

There is an urgent need to mobilise a mass movement of workers and peasants in Kashmir, India and Pakistan against war. Such a movement, armed with a socialist programme to overthrow capitalism and landlordism is the only guarantee against the possibility of nuclear conflict."

Jammu Kashmir National Awami Party ( JK NAP) held its 3rd central convention at Rawalakot city in Pakistani occupied Kashmir ( POK). JK NAP delegates from all over POK cities, towns and villages started reaching at Rawalakot city at the evening of 10 may, 2009. Program began with introducing delegates to each other, then dinner was served with local traditional hospitality, cultural activities started with traditional lok music,dance, songs with the message of freedom,humanity,love, peace and prosperity. This cultural activity added little more joyfulness to youth from all over POK. Later on, JK NAP delegates elected its new central body of the party and following leaders have been elected for their positions:

Next day 11th may, 2009 was oath taking ceremony and publlic rally was planned in Sabir shaheed stadium, which is biggest public gathering place available in the city of Rawalakot. After taking oath, new elected leaders vow that as long as our motherland is under occupation, we will continue our national liberation struggle. JK NAP leaders condemned Indian and Pakistani occupation and demanded that it is right time for both occupiers to end their illegal, illogical, immoral,inhuman occupation of our lovely Kashmir. JK NAP leaders also condemned Indian state brutalities, state terrorism, and Pakistani state,s deceiving and deception policy, promoting Mullahism, religious hatred and sabotaging Kashmir national liberation movement. It is highly condemnable act that Pakistani state institutions have been created communal division to fulfill their evil design panning to divide our motherland which has been already divided in many parts.

Liaqat Hayyat newly elected president of JK NAP, while issuing a policy statement at the occasion said that our struggle would be focused on the reuniting forcefully divided Kashmir. President JK NAP categorically made it clear that re division of Jammu Kashmir state would never be acceptable to any Kashmiri no matter where he/ she lives. He said that our leadership have rejected previously proposed suggestions by Indian and Pakistani Govts and it must be understood by every one in the world that there would not be acceptable to us any thing less united Independent democratic secular kashmir, as it used be, before 14th august, 1947. Following announcements were made by president JK NAP and approved by General council.

1- JK NAP as of today date 11th may, 2009 separating itself from all parties national alliance
( APNA) and pulling out from the alliance. JK NAP is no more the part of this alliance.

2-JK NAP will be a part of democratic process and will be participating in next parliamentary election, even it is mandatory to sign the oath of loyalty to state accession to Pakistan.

3-JK NAP will be arranged a sit in on the LOC near Titreenote area next year. JK NAP body demands that UNO observers must be appointed to ckeck Kashmiris going across the LOC. It must be considered as an human issue, not a political issue. We are not against trade across LOC but we demand that POK area must be created market for IOK commodities, goods from IOK side should be subject to checked by local administration not by Army personnel. If there would not be changes in this trading system and Pakistani interference would continue, JK NAP would use peoples power to make changes. It is very unfortunate that when Kashmiris go to the LOC, Indian side sign board says that welcome to India and Pakistani side says that welcome to Pakistan, even though, none of the sides is India , Pakistan.

4- JK NAP demands that state subject should be restored in occupied Gilgit Baltistan and their basic democratic, cultural,religious rights must also be restored as soon as possible. Kashmiris must be given freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, freedom of expression in all divided parts.

5-JK NAP expresses solidarity with the people of FATA, Swat, Malakand, Dir and Baluchistan but we out rightly reject imposition of Sharia by Taliban and do reject their brand of Islamic interpretation. JK NAP supports basic democratic rights of Baluch people, including the right of self determination.

JKNAP IS A TRANSFORMED STRUGGLE OF JKNSF

Subject: JK NAP and its forming.

Jammu Kashmir National students federation was formed in 1966 by some progressive students from POK. Its first president was former POK prime minister Mumtaz Hussain Rathore. JK NSF has been produced a large number of political leaders, activists, academics, intellectuals, since its formation. There are so many political activists active in different political parties in POK are trained by JK NSF during students career. JK NSF has been continued its political struggle in POK colleges and university campuses during three decades. After three decades, JK NSF leadership started an open dialog in early 90s among different pro-independence political groups. This discussion continued till mid 90s, JK NSF leaders felt that it is very important to have a new political party which can continue JK NSF political struggle in masses. It was very important task for JK NSF leadership to launch a new revolutionary political party in POK. JK NSF headed by its president Engineer Hassan Muhamood, secretary General Nadeem Aslam. JK NSF visionary students leaders had realized that it is the need of the time to have a revolutionary political party in POK area. After long discussions, debates, seminars had been launched in public halls, colleges and university campuses. JK NSF members also participated in these discussions launched by their leadership. JK NSF leaders had made contacts with other progressive left groups in POK and brought them in to these discussions, some opposed this proposal of forming new party and some of them did join it. After long deliberations, JK NSF General council had approved new party proposal in its central convention held in 1995 and JK NAP was formed in the same year. Soon after JK NAP was formed in 1995, it did attract a large number of youth from POK area. JK NAP elected (Late) Sardar Anwar Khan advocate its first president. It was an historical moment for JK NSF youth and JK NAP cadres when they elected a towering personality, top intellectual and long time revolutionary political leader as president of this newly launched revolutionary party of this oppressed and occupied region of Kashmir. JK NSF leaders now started joining this newly formed revolutionary party and with in a decade party has spread its revolutionary message all over POK cities, towns and villages. During this period JK NAP also suffered some internal external crisis but trained, committed, ideologically well equipped comrades have struggled hard to counter all ill wills and brought out this revolutionary party on track. It is very important to know that JK NSF has been written its history with the blood of its youths through out these 4 decades and sacrificed many of its activists including one of its central General secretaries Faheem Akram, who was killed by pro Pakistani local Govt,s agents in Bagh city. JK NAP was the direct out come of this 4 decades struggle of JK NSF and JK NAP activists did follow the sacrifices of JK NSF comrades and last two comrades during a unity march towards one of the most oppressed regions of this unfortunate Kashmiri nation, the occupied Gilgit Baltistan, formerly known northern province of Kashmir. It is a region, the most brutally ruled by Pakistani state. After struggling hard in the region of POK, JK NAP leadership had decided to expand its organizational structure abroad, where half of POK population lives, especially in UK, Europe, U.S.A and middle eastern countries have been holding 1.6 million Kashmiris from POK areas. JK NAP national Council decided to form JK NAP international council, Nadeem Aslam central leader of JK NAP and former JK NSF central secretary General of JK NSF was appointed as its spokesman and Javed Inayat as its coordinator. International council has already formed its several branches, which have been functioning more than 10 countries since two years. It is very important to know that IC JKNAP has decided to launch an aggressive campaign among Kashmiri diaspora preparing them to play their important role to defeat the enemies of our divided nation. IC JK NAP leaders, activists and members have been active on different fronts to bring all freedom loving Kashmiris together. It is JK NAP intention to launch an aggressive policy against foreign occupation not only in different regions of Jammu Kashmir but also on international front. IC JK NAP will be soon paying an attention towards launching a diplomatic activities and will be exposing Indian and Pakistani states institutions crimes committed against innocent Kashmiri civilians both side of LOC. It is JK NAP intentions to create awareness among Kashmiris towards their democratic rights, which have been violated by our occupiers since 6 decades. JK NAP has been expanding its organizational based in POK areas and youths from this area is considering JK NAP a real ray of hope and joining its ranks in all over POK. Internationally IC JKNAP has extended its working capacity, especially in U.K. which is a home of a little less than a million POK people, party has announced its local convention on 4 oct 2009, which is a great success for IC JKNAP generally and particularly for U.K branch. It is also good to know that lots of our old time JK NSF leaders and activists are also joining JK NAP nationally and internationally, last week 16 JK NSF former leaders, activists from Bagh joined JK NAP ranks and 20 JK NSF leaders from Kotli joined JK NAP, we all welcome them, it is a great success for our party,s strength. This week JK NAP also holding its central convention in Poonch city of Rawalakot. It will be a thrilling gathering for POK youth and big leap to our freedom struggle. In will be a source of inspiration to all occupied regions of Kashmir. We hope that Kashmiris from all divided regions will sooner or later get united and overthrow the menace of foreign occupation, which has been a source of all problems. Taliban and Military operation in Pakistan ?

Date: Sunday, May 10, 2009, 5:47 PM it is still not clear that military operation against Taliban would be successful or not. It would be a real military operation or it is just like previous one. Military operation has created panic situation for local population and a million of them made refugees. It is clearly seen that operation has been planned create human crisis to show the world how army is serious to finish off the Taliban. It seems like that military top brass has not been as serious to eliminate Taliban, as they are serious to get money from USA and world community. It would be last opportunity for army to collect money out of this Taliban project and Taliban has been proving an hen, which has been producing golden eggs for army and politicians. I had predicted about previous operation that it would have been failed and it did because military was not ready to get rid of Taliban, it was only American pressure, which was behind the operation. Military has been adopted a policy of creating militant groups and using them against democratic forces. It is still the policy of deceiving and deception in terms of eliminating religious extremists and fundamentalist groups. Pakistani military has permanent interests to control state institutions and Generals need undemocratic forces to back them up when they take actions against democratic Govts, even to terrorize masses, call democracy a Kufr is quite suitable for military Generals. Army has developed very deep rooted conflict between civil society and itself. Militant groups have been deliberately created to ally with military against civilians. None of the militant groups is against the interests of military nor they would be able to challenge their interests, because they have the same interests. The military has been forced to fight Taliban but it did not fight to eliminate them from our society because they share the ideology. Military itself has a large section of Jihadis in its ranks and sympathizer with religious militants. Military strategists would like use these para military groups against India as a proxy force. It is some how effective force to bleed India and Pakistan army wants to preserve them to fight against India in Afghanistan later or sooner. However, this time we have seen Swat operation has been launched in an aggressive way and impression has been given that army is ready to finish off Taliban but the preparation for civilian crisis is nowhere. It seems that there would be appeals for help to the world community. This is the way of making money, not only for the military but for the civilian bureaucracy as well. Military has left no other means to collect money from USA and this time US has conditionalized the aid money and military responded US with Nazam Adel in Swat, Malakand areas, US opposed this deal and increased military aid this time, making military boys happy, then we saw heavy artillery, tanks, gunship helicopters all over Swat, hitting Taliban positions. It still needs to understand that why 1,25000 military personnel have gone to kill 5,000 Taliban or ten, fifteen thousand Taliban? After previous operations we have seen Taliban came up with stronger force, even though, military did claim that so many Taliban have been killed, this time same claims have been made again and again by military, but it is yet to be seen, how successful this operation would be in Swat valley.
