Jammu Kashmir National Awami Party (JK NAP) president Liaqat Hayyat condemned state terrorism in Gilgit baltistan area of Chilass and announced that Feb 23rd would be a protest day in all over POK cities, towns and villages under the banner of JK NAP. JK NAP president said that Pakistani security forces have killed 2 innocent people and injured 12, some of them are in very critical conditions. People of the area were protesting over the building of Basha dam in their area and demanding that they must be compensated before they made homeless as Pakistani state has done to the people of Mangla dam affectees and never compensated them since 4 decades. JK NAP leaders have stunned over the killing of Basha dam affectees, who were protesting over the injustices have done to them by govt of Pakistan. It is not surprising for us, as people of Pakistani occupied Kashmir have long time been experiencing these injustices in their own area where Govt of Pakistan and its secret agencies have been established their own secret Govt and people have been treated like colonized people. JK NAP leaders are protesting over these brutal killings of innocent people of Chilass. JK NAP completely supports the demands of local people of Gilgit Baltistan and urges Govt of Pakistan do not build Basha dam as long as this territory is disputed and Pakistan has not been allowed to build any thing on this internationally recognized area of Jammu Kashmir state. Pakistani security forces have opened fire on the peaceful protesters, what a democracy and empowerment plan has been given to the people of Gilgit Baltistan by this Govt, even people of this area can not protest against injustices going on with them. JK NAP will take out processions, protest marches and public rallies all over POK to make people of this area aware what has been going on to the people of Gilgit Baltistan. We both are the victims of the same enemy and have been occupied by the same country and our struggle is one and we never let people of Gilgit Baltistan alone in this national liberation struggle. JK NAP president demanded that those who have been killed by the firing of security forces in Chilass during protest rally must be compensated by pakistani state not what Pakistani state is ready to give them but what ever is the demand of the Basha dam action committee. JK NAP supports Basha dam action committee and demands that affectees must be paid 10 lakh Rupees not what Govt has suggested 5 lakh Rupees.
Meanwhile, International Council JK NAP leaders have also condemned the brutal killings of peaceful protesters in Chilass. IC JK NAP coordinator Javed Inayat, Spokesman Nadeem Aslam advocate, JK NAP UK president pro Sajjad Raja, secretary Gen Shahid Hashmi, Orgnizer Azad Raja, USA Branch president Saleem Awan advocate, secretary Gen Zahid ahmed Baluch, Belgium president Raize Khan, secretary Gen Shahid Azam Jr, IC members Hassan Mehmood, Shahid Azam Sr, Manwa Khaliq Khan, Nayyar Khan USA branch strongly condemned the state terrorism in Chilass. IC JK NAP leaders said that it is highly condemnable act of state terrorism and ugly attempt to suppress peaceful people of the region. JK NAP leaders warned that Pakistani state has further alienated the Kashmiri people and especially people of Gilgit Baltistan have long time been deprived of their basic human rights and they have every right to resist the subjugation and we JK NAP people fully support their struggle unconditionally. Pakistani state secret agencies are harassing JK NAP activists.
Jammu Kashmir National Awami party ( JK NAP) activists have been harassed by members of the Pakistan,s notorious state secret agency ISI in POK area. It is highly condemnable act that ISI agents have been collecting information of JK NAP local party officials and Senior leadership including JK NAP president Liaqat Hayyat. It is an harassment policy of Pakistani state secret agencies in POK and they have been trying to disrupt the peaceful struggle in POK area. ISI members have been so much hostile towards JK NAP activists since so long because JK NAP activists have not been accepting their unjustified, brutal oppression in POK. JK NAP leaders have been put behind the bar only for speaking the truth against Pakistani state oppression against Kashmiri people under their occupation.

JK NAP president also condemned the suicide attacks in the area and said that it is conspiracy of Pakistani state secret agencies to make this POK area their battleground but we do not let them use suicide attacks against local national liberation movement. It would not be possible for ISI and Pakistani military establishment to crush this rights movement because people are now very much aware of their rights and will defend this National liberation movement against Pakistani occupation. JK NAP president also condemned the ISI illegal and criminal activities in POK area. Liaqat Hayyat told in press conference that ISI members are trying interfere with local administration,s work and harass them doing their duties. The similar incident has occurred in Hajira police station after suicide bombers have struck twice in this region and local administration have been trying to make lists of non locals residing in the state jurisdiction. Hajira police station in charge or Head of the police station Raja Pervez Hamid prepared non state residents lists which was ordered by AJK Govt as there are more suicide attempts have been expected by local administration, so that they are trying to take precautionary measures to prevent them but ISI agents have entered in to the Hajira police station and asked SHO Raja Pervez Hamid why he is preparing lists of non state people and they try to get the names of the listed people most of them are Pakistanis of course. SHO Raja pervez Hamid refused to comply with their unjustified unconstitutional interference with his work and fight broke out in the police station and SHO Raja Pervez Hamid arrested all of them and some were beaten up by brave members of local Kashmiri police. Later ISI alerted higher ups and SP of Poonch district was ordered by GHQ bosses that SHO Raja Pervez Hamid must be suspended immediately and SP did what ever he was told to do.

If our peaceful activists and leaders are not safe in POK there would be any one safe in this region and there should not be any doubts in Pakistani military establishment,s mind, as they have already attempted to provoke JK NAP activists and very well aware of the strength and its street power but we do believe in peaceful struggle and will continue our national liberation movement in POK no matter what it takes.

International Council JK NAP leaders condemned state brutality (IC JKNAP)
International Council Jammu Kashmir National Awami Party ( IC JKNAP) leaders and workers condemned violence against their leaders, activists and workers in POK capital city Muzaffarabad last Sunday. It is highly condemnable act of local administration which has acted on behalf of Pakistani state secret agencies and followed the orders of army officers, it is a shameful act of local police. International Council JK NAP leaders and workers around the world will observe black day tomorrow to show solidarity with our comrades back home. We have seen very disturbing images in national and International media, as JK NAP and JK NSF leaders and workers have been brutally attacked by not only police but also army personnel beating up comrades and firing in the air. We the members of International Council JK NAP including IC coordinator Javed Inayat, spokesman Nadeem Aslam Advocate, president UK branch professor Sajjad Raja, Secretary General Shahid Hashmi, Azad Raja chief Organizer, all other members of the branch, Belgium branch members Sardar Shahid Azam senior, Shahid Azam Jr, Hassan Mehmood Khawaja, Sabir Malik, other branch members, USA branch Saleem Awan Advocate, Nayyar Khan, Dr. Jameel Khan, Zahid Baluch, Qamar Mirza from Australia highly disturbed and stressed out watching these video images of our Party leaders and activists. AJK police brutally attacking JK NAP workers, some of them have got serious injuries, broken arms and legs, head injuries, one comrades was severely injured but still arrested, not provided any medical treatment so far, one comrade,s neck was roped and he was in severe pain but dragged in to the lock up. We appeal to human rights organizations, peace loving people, world community, progressive parties and intellectuals please put pressure on Pakistani Govt and POK Govt to stop rein of terror against JK NAP and JK NSF activists. JK NAP along with its youth organization has announced black day tomorrow and we are concern that state forces with the help of Pakistani state secret agencies, army officers will again initiate violence against our party workers and leaders and target them. There is no rule of law in this region of Kashmir, every one is behaving his own and there are Govt thugs always ready to crush those dissent voices in the region. JK NAP would not accept this situation and refused to be submissive to brutal acts of violence against its workers. There has never been an occasion JK NAP and JK NSF members ever let to have peaceful protests or rallies in the cities, they always have been attacked either by local police or army thugs. Our comrades have been harassed by Pakistani state secret agencies and they try to silence their dissent voices, BUT JK NAP will continue its revolutionary struggle at all cost.

Autonomy to Gilgit-Baltistan is a joke: Pakistani Kashmiri leader
Islamabad's move to give "greater political autonomy" to the Northern Areas by renaming the region Gilgit-Baltistan and giving it the powers of a federal province is "nothing but a little joke", says a separatist leader in Pakistan- administered Jammu and Kashmir.
On Saturday, the Pakistan cabinet approved the Gilgit-Baltistan Empowerment and Self Governance Order, 2009, that empowers the local assembly to elect its chief minister; the Pakistan president will appoint a governor for the region adjoining Jammu and Kashmir that was earlier under the direct control of Islamabad.
Like other provinces, the assembly will, however, have no control over defence and treasury.
"We outrightly reject this so called governance order 2009 for Gilgit Baltistan. It is nothing but a little joke to the people of this region and the state of Jammu (and) Kashmir," Jammu and Kashmir National Awami Party (JKNAP) president Liaqat Hayyat told IANS in an email interview.
The JKNAP is a separatist political outfit based in Muzaffarabad, the capital of Pakistan-administer ed Kashmir or 'Azad' Jammu and Kashmir, the other part of Kashmir that is under Islamabad's control.
"After 63 years of deprivation of basic human rights, Pakistan's decision to change the name of the local administration and creation of the authority of chief minister and governor indicates that this region would be a province of the country," Hayyat said.
The Shia Muslim-dominated region, seen as part of its Jammu and Kashmir state by India, has seen a separatist movement gaining momentum over the past few years.
Alarmingly low literacy levels, the absence of industry, deplorable road and communication links, the lack of energy sources, and the lack of job opportunities have fuelled the resentment and rebellion amongst the people in the region -- which was part of Jammu and Kashmir before Pakistan militarily occupied some parts of the erstwhile princely state in 1948.
Islamabad's move to grant it autonomy to address the simmering discontent has serious implications for the "disputed" territoriality of Jammu and Kashmir.
"It is a totally unconstitutional decision. Pakistan has absolutely no authority over the region to decide the fate of the two million people of disputed Jammu and Kashmir. It is a violation of the UN resolution which has only mandated temporary administrative authority over this region till the Kashmir dispute is resolved between India and Pakistan," said Hayat.
He said Pakistan was making "an attempt to strengthen (its) occupation over the region and it is not acceptable to any one in the region or any patriotic Kashmiri".
"This expansionist policy of the Pakistani state must be resisted," he said.
"This region has not been part of Pakistani state; nor have people of this region ever decided to join Pakistan.
"Pakistani rulers are behaving like colonial powers in the region and imposing their own institutions against the popular will of the people of this unfortunate region. It is condemnable and shameful... The JKNAP will continue its struggle and resist occupation of Kashmir," he added.
The JKNAP has called for protest Tuesday all over Pakistan-administer ed Kashmir cities and towns.
Also known as the Karakoram region, Gilgit-Baltistan spreads from Shinaki Kohistan to Chitral (in Pakistan) up to Tashkurgan (under Chinese occupation) and from Ladakh to Kargil in India.

JK NAP continues its protest nationally and internationally.
Various reports confirm that since 19th July 2009 a black day observed in Rawlakot POK,behind the arrests of the president JKNAP Laquat Hayyat and other leadership of JKNSF were penalised by the POK police. Pakistani ISI is behind all these cases registered against the pro-people leadership of JKNAP and JKNSF.The cases were registered under the so called emergency act which is describes stop to expose the Pakistan military role in POK.
Some un unidentified military officials threaten to the president of JKNSF Raja Saba to stop peaceful protests and after few days police lodged more cases against the active leadership of JKNSF +JKNAP and police arrested more activists from POK.
IC JKNAP believes that the life of Raja Saba is under threat from the ISI and other agencies of Pakistani military those are completely operating the right wing elements (LT,HM,HJ,MJC) believe in Jihad-e-Kashmir from POK.They are in a safe heavens in POK and POGB.
We request to all human rights organisations to closely monitor situation in POK crackdown against those groups working for an Secular,Independent ,United Kashmir.

In Belgium Kashmiri announced also the Maqbool Butt Shaheed remains action committe ( MBSRACBEL ) . It was announced that Hassan Bhai , JAVEED akhter , Dr Ishtiaque , Shabir Khan , Dr Ishaque , Amjed Khan will be the responsible members of this committe , lateron these members will announce the coordinator of this committee . MBSRACBEL will announce its programme laterly . JKNAP and JKNSF took out their central procession march in POK capital city Muzafrabad led by JKNSF central president Raja Sabah JKNAP central leader Mubarak Awan and participated by large number of JKNAP, JKNSF along with local people. JKNAP, and JKNSF feel honour on this day of our history, when we see allmost all people of POK cities and towns came out to remember their hero Maqbool Bhatt who was hanged by Indian state without showing any mercy to silence a louder voice of oppressed Kashmiris both side of LOC, messages sent out at the occasion by JKNAP and JKNSF leaders.
Today we it is our National honour Maqbool Bhatt has been accepted as a national hero by our Kashmiri Nation both sides of tthe LOC and those who used call him agent of India pakistan are wish to be consider with Maqbool Bhatt. Kashmiris people would not accept any thing less than united Independent Kashmir state as it was before 14th August 1947. We do not ask any for what is not ours, we want India Pakistan to restore our divided state, our demand is restoration of our honour, our historical position, nothing less nothing more. We the members, leaders, activists, offices bearers of JKNAP, JKNSF vow today at this sacred occasion of Maqbool Bhatt day that we continue this mission of freedom,liberty, honour and national emacipation.
